2025 SONC Fall Tournament

November 13th - 15th, 2025
Charlotte, Concord, Mooresville

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support Special Olympics NC athletes at Fall Tournament this November in Charlotte, Concord and Mooresville. This is an amazing opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Special Olympics athletes while enjoying a day of fun, competition and community spirit.

Special Olympics NC will be hosting about 1,300 athletes and unified partners throughout the state at 7 different venues. It is through the help of 1,300 volunteers throughout 3 days in 3 different counties that we are able to put on an excellent event.

Due to the shear volume of volunteers and the necessity to put on a quality competition we need all volunteers to be on site for the entire shift that they signed up for and to stay the entire time, unless they are released by the Volunteer Manager on site.

Please note that our events are at locations throughout Charlotte, Concord and Mooresville.

PLEASE SELECT A JOB AND SHIFT THAT WORKS FOR YOU!!

Note that we will still feed you and try our best to provide a t-shirt that fits you but we have to pack those shirts and order those lunches long before game day.

Volunteers will play a vital role in making this event a success. Volunteers will assist with event setup, competition, awards and more. No prior experience is needed - just a positive attitude and a passion for giving back!

Special Olympics NC will:
  • Provide training.
  • Provide lunch for all day volunteers.
  • Provide a volunteer T-Shirt.
  • Provide an opportunity to make a difference.
Volunteers must:
  • Be at least 14 years of age to volunteer.
  • Work the entire shift for which they are scheduled.
  • Arrive on time to take part in training.
  • Have a good time!!
If you have a group of 20 or more please email volunteers@sonc.net to make arrangements.
There are no shifts available at this time.
