2026 Special Olympics NC Summer Games

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us for the 2026 Special Olympics North Carolina Summer Games!

If you have a group of 20 or more please email volunteers@sonc.net to get them registered.

Who: General Volunteers! Volunteers must be 14 years old or older

Where: Locations throughout the Triangle

When: Friday, May 29, 2026 - Sunday, May 31, 2026

Why: This is an amazing chance to make a real difference in the lives of Special Olympics athletes while enjoying a day of fun and competition.

What: Volunteers will assist with volunteer check-in, keeping score, meal service, officiating, setting up and more.

Weather: You will be notified by email if there are any changes to the schedule.

Details: Please stay for your entire shift. If you need a shorter shift please select one that aligns with your schedule.

Training: Volunteer training will be emailed and held on site during your volunteer shift.

T-Shirts: Will be provided for volunteers - they are all unisex adult sizes.
