2026 Summer Games Awards Presenter

May 30th - 31st, 2026
Various Locations in the Raleigh Area

Join Special Olympics NC as we invite athletes from all across the state to participate in our largest state-level event of the year this May!

We are looking for local dignitaries and police officers to come out to present awards to the top contenders!



Who:        Local dignitaries, sports teams, and police officers Aged 14 and older

Where:    Locations throughout the Triangle

When:      Friday, May 29, 2026 - Sunday, May 31, 2026

Why:         This is an amazing chance to make a real difference in the lives of Special Olympics athletes while enjoying a day of fun and competition.

What:        Honored Guest Awards Presenters will assist with presenting athletes and Unified Partners their awards after competition. 

Weather:   You will be notified by email if there are any changes to the schedule.

Details: Please stay for your entire shift. If you need a shorter shift please select one that aligns with your schedule.

Sign up today!  We will send training info via email and train you on site to complete your assignment. Volunteers should plan to stay for their entire shift.
