Special Olympics NC Zoom Support for Fitness Training Sessions (Virtual)

March 2nd - December 31st, 2022
Online!

The goal of Special Olympics is to create an environment whereby every person with intellectual disabilities is welcome, accepted, and included. Help advocate for a more inclusive community for people with intellectual disabilities by taking part in one of the many opportunities we offer to make a difference!

Due to Covid-19 we have had to move our training online! We are supporting our athletes with remote training including virtual Zoom fitness training sessions. We will continue to offer virtual training sessions to help keep everyone fit and motivated all the time. It's a great way for all participants to connect, get fit, and stay motivated.

To help support this effort, we are looking for tech-savvy people to provide remote tech support for each of our Zoom fitness training sessions. Each of these sessions could potentially have several hundred participants.

Due to the required training and paperwork, we do ask that volunteers select at least 3 shifts to serve during the 2022 season.

Volunteers must be 16 years of age and complete a background check and advanced training which takes about an hour total.

Sorry, there are no shifts available at this time.
