**All Special Olympics athletes will sign up for an athlete slot. If you are a general education student participating in Unified Champion Schools as a partner, you will sign up for the student slot.

Parents of Athletes: Please use the athlete’s information (rather than the parent or caregiver's) when signing up.

Parents and Caregivers: Please plan on staying with athletes who need assistance. Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC) staff will not be present, and while Law Enforcement Torch Run officers are invited, they are not guaranteed to be there.

If no, enter your first name and email in the below boxes and you will be prompted to complete the volunteer application (approximately 2 minutes). Upon completion, you will be able to sign up for an available shift.

New Athlete Volunteers: Please create a Volunteer Profile. It's just 10 questions and you just need to do it once. Returning Athlete volunteers: If you have used this system in the past you just need to enter your first name and email address to proceed.
